“No.” Small word. Big impact. A guide on saying no to smoking.

Smoking is everywhere we go – especially at LGBT-friendly bars, clubs and social events. It’s easy to cave when so many people around you are smoking; there’s a lot of pressure after all.

This is how you deal…

The best advice is to just be direct and tell them “No, thanks.” You’ll never have to have that conversation again.

And your friends will totally understand. Seriously, how many people do you know broke up a friendship because one of them didn’t want to smoke? Like, none.

But if you aren’t comfortable being direct, excuse yourself and go find something else to do for a few minutes. When you come back, offer them a mint. (‘Cause cig breath ain’t cute, y’all.)
